Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Professional Structural Engineer to join our team in Draper, Utah. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver structural engineering solutions for a variety of building projects. From concept through construction, you will be responsible for designing safe and efficient structures, conducting structural analysis, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:

Engage in structural engineering design tasks for diverse building projects using industry-standard materials and techniques.

Prepare structural engineering calculations and analyses to support project design and construction.

Coordinate with our in-house CAD department to develop construction documents and detailed drawings.

Conduct research on building codes, both state and IBC, to ensure project compliance.

Work closely with internal engineering teams to meet project scheduling milestones and budgets.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred).

Utah Professional Structural Engineer (SE) or Civil Engineer (PE) license.

Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience, including project management.

Strong understanding of practical application of structural engineering principles and techniques.

Proficiency in structural design techniques and tools, including reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation design.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client coordination, permits, and internal collaboration.

Outstanding time management skills to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Utilize engineering software and tools, with proficiency in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD).

Potentially manage project resources, schedules, budgets, and forecasts, liaising with external vendors and contractors as required.
Qualifications:

Pay Range: $48,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
